Great place to stay away from large towns and crowds. Felt right at home, the bed and covers helped us get the rest we needed. Simone was a great host always checking on us and giving us advice. The coffee provided was the perfect touch while getting ready in the morning. The train station and bus station next door was also a plus. Fresh bread across the street. Overall I highly recommend Simon’s place.

The apartment was splendid and Simone was very friendly.. Just that you have to take some steps to reach apartment. Spotless clean and beautiful apartment

Host is always responsive and the check in was seamless. The apartment is clean and modern. No AC bit there is fan for cooling and heated flooring on cooler nights. We felt comfortable.Overall a great value to find near Lucerne. It is also close to Mall of Switzerland with restaurants and supermarket. I highly recommended Simone's place.

Simone’s place was so relaxing after our long travel and adventure days. The bedroom was comfortable and the bathroom was clean! We cooked breakfast in the kitchen and enjoyed the Nespresso coffee included. The washer and dryer were a huge plus for us. Not to mention the ease of getting to the train station since there is literally a stop right outside. The mountains in the distance were gorgeous. Below the apartment is a busy business hub with lots of people walking to their offices. Just keep in mind. We were never disturbed except for the morning gym sessions we could hear downstairs occasionally.

The loft apartment in Root was beautiful and very easy to find and locate by train. Simone was a 5 Star super host an Nothing was too much trouble and there was everything we needed in the apartment, apart from food which I would recommend you get some bits before you come especially if you’re arriving late after a long days travel. We enjoyed the Nespresso machine in the morning And having a long soak in the bath in the evening after a long days traveling around. The train station is super convenient for Lucerne and in the opposite direction to get to Rhine Falls. For us it was also easy to get from the apartment to Mount Pilatus, which is a must see. We also took a walk one evening to the Thai restaurant which is 15mins lovely walk. I wouldn’t hesitate staying at this apartment if you don’t want to be in the centre of Lucerne and the train journey to Lurcene majority of the time is no more then 15 minutes.
